Idea: Calendar events

This is a thing we already discussed internally. :zahn: At the current stage the following points are toyed with:
  • New scene property called "Calender Event", or some such
  • Choices are: Easter, Halloween, Christmas and maybe New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day.
  • If a girl has such a scene and it matches the current day, it will take precedence over the randomly chosen scenes.
  • Display a small icon next to the telephone/tattoo/buddy icon, maybe a small calender.

Cool. Seems while concentrating on girlpacks I have missed some discussions :D

Nah, you are just not part of the inner circle. The "Two men group"... :stinkefinger:

Anyway: The above mentioned points are a very simple way to integrate such calendar events. We would very much appreciate your ideas to improve upon them.

The main thing I think is not to make like a one day calendar event. As it may become practically useless. As I said before it should be at least week or two. Like Christmas Holidays could be from December 20th till January 6th. Halloween from 31st of October till 6th of November and so on. And if a girl has a special calendar day for example: she has 6 home scenes and one of the scenes is a Christmas related scene. As it's only available during Christmas time, when you hook up with that girl it may even prompt: "Would you like a special treat today?" YES - the special scene, NO - ordinary one.

The later part is a problematic one: The game first finds girls according to game time (changes with every advance of time) and then selects the scenes. If you open the "girl pickup dialog", all is done already. Notice the red, lime green or dark green color of the flirt button. That's why I suggested to override the scene selection, currently a random scene according to game time/location/buddy/... is selected, with the calendar event I'd prefer the special ones. For the whole event time, maybe a week like you suggested.

Yeah it would be logical, as the random isn't perfect either, because if you try to hook up with the same girl several days in a row and she has like 6 home scenes even without relationship requirement it isn't a guarantee you will be able to see all the scenes.

I would suggest making the Flirt button unique for such events. Make it sparkly or something, just to make it stand out. Otherwise most such scenes will never be seen unless you know exactly what you're looking for and when.

Actually, as long as you stay ingame the application keeps track of all scenes selected for each girl. If you select the same girl over and over again the scenes already played will be taken from the pool until no scenes matching the parameters are left. Then the tracker gets resetted. This is not saved, mind.

See above, I was thinking about a new icon, since the code for that is already there.
